We felt there was a lot of commonality between craft beer and gin. When we brew beer, a lot of it isn’t just water, yeast, hops and barley; we used a lot of different fruits, herbs and spices in order to complement a hop or malt. We felt gin gave us a similar opportunity. We also wanted to create a specific tonic that enhanced the Origin gin that we created to hopefully create that perfect gin and tonic.

Our mission is to create a new model for American manufacturing, promote the ancient art of distilling, and utilize the local bounty found in Missouri with our worker owned distillery to create premium rye whiskey and American applejack.
With respect toward the ancient alchemy of creating spirits, Arcana prides itself on sourcing local ingredients, distilling, aging, and bottling in one building. Our rye whiskey and American applejack were created to remind drinkers that craftsmanship and local ingredients don’t have to be expensive, but they do make the fundamental difference in taste.
After years of planning, we recently opened in a very historic site where the family that settled this homestead began distilling here back in the 1840's. We are currently producing the finest Vodka, Gin, Hallelujah White Whiskey and Eau-de-vie Vin. We are very proud of our signature products and are eager for visitors to taste our products.
Our two tasting rooms are open and are amzing! One at First and Gutenberg in downtown Hermann Missouri, everyon'es favorite historic town...And the granddaddy of all tasting rooms. Located on site at the historic Black Shire Distillery.

Bub’s Distillery is a 1st generation distillery founded here in southern Missouri by Spencer Detherage in 2017. Our focus here at Bub’s is a genuine, local, hand crafted spirit that takes time and care into each bottle that we produce. What started out as a hobby has rapidly turn into a passion and dedication to
become better with every spirit. With the local community molding much of who we are, we strive to become your hometown distillery. As close as our family is, us as a community is really just one big family.

Our plan is to make mostly Missouri Bourbon. Don't get too excited yet for it will take 5 years to make from start to finish! The Distillery is located on the old Kallmeyer Farm in Hermann which has been in our family for 110 years.
Our plans are to utilize corn and wheat grown on the farm.

The Copper Run family of spirits is heavily influenced by local resources, the pure limestone-rich water, the famous Missouri white oak barrels, and the ever changing climate in the Ozarks create a unique distilling and maturing environment but that alone’s not enough to justify the popularity of our products! The secret lies in our distillation techniques and methods that we have developed over the past 10 years; that allow us to make smooth and wonderfully tasting whiskey and rum right out of the still, making the barrel ageing process a mere flavoring and conditioning technique.

In 2008 Crown Valley Brewing and Distilling Company™ revitalized the old Coffman school house and created a state-of-the-art Brewery and Distillery. It houses the 15 barrel Brew House where beer, hard cider and Fizzy Izzy Root Beer™ are expertly crafted. After fermentation and aging the beverages are bottled and packaged in the same facility. Missouri Moonshine Malt Whiskey™, vodka, and gin, are also produced on-site.

Edelbrand Pure Distilling is a family-owned small-batch distillery that draws upon the traditions of our Swiss-Romanisch heritage and the distilling methods still found in the mountain villages of Switzerland today. Our small copper pot stills, single-batch runs, and limited production create exceptional award-winning spirits, unaged and dry, that hold a hint of Switzerland in each bottle. Each of the 850 bottles we will produce this year is crafted by hand to bring out the delicate nature of each fruit’s essence.

Jacob Rieger & Company was founded in 1887 in Kansas City’s West Bottoms Livestock Exchange district. The brand offered over 100 alcoholic products and took pride in maintaining a quarter of a million unique customers by offering mail-order delivery services. In 1919, Prohibition was enacted by the federal government and wasn’t reversed until 1933. J. Rieger & Co. was a casualty at the time, but was not destined to be lost forever. Nearly a century following Prohibition, we are proud once again to call Kansas City our home.

Of The Earth is located in the gently rolling hills of Ray County in northwest Missouri. In season the orchard produces apples, Asian pears and peaches. Spent mash from the production of premium spirits is fed to Berkshire hogs to produce flavorful pork and supplemented to the Katahdin sheep to make an especially happy flock. Apple brandy, from Of The Earth apples; Ray County Rye Whisky, made with rye grown in Ray County; and Grappa created from Missouri Norton grapes were released in December 2013. Blackberry and Raspberry Liqueur from fresh, local berries were added to the offerings in August 2014 and 2015. Pommeau was also released in 2015. This is a unique blending of apple distillates and fresh apple juice aged in a recycled Apple brandy barrel.

Today, Tom’s Town satisfies that thirst by producing premium craft spirits. You can taste our high standards and attention to detail in every sip of the gin, vodka, and bourbon we make.
Our whisky is made with a few simple ingredients: corn, water, wheat, barley, yeast, and hickory. Out of the hillside comes the water that my family drinks and what we make our spirits with. Just a few miles down the road is where we get the corn from and the rest of the ingredients, save the malt is within a short drive. The process is slow, but in our lightening speed society, maybe this is a good thing.
